FusionHQ Review

Hi! My name is Kristina and I’ve been lucky enough to have used FusionHQ since it was in BETA. I now know the platform so well that I was recently asked to come on board as the official Head Coach of FusionHQ.

Below is my thorough review of FusionHQ and its many features, based on my experience with the platform (make sure you read through to the bottom and check out my special bonus too).

Since I started using FusionHQ, I have come to realize that it is an incredible tool that makes it very simple to run any form of online business.

The idea behind it is to have everything you need to run your online business all in one place, rather than worrying about integrating multiple different softwares just to get your online business going. Most people end up having to pay web designers or programmers to do it all. Well not anymore…

FusionHQ removes the need for programmers.

It is well suited to a wide variety of business models – whether you’re looking to:

- create and sell your own products
- promote affiliate products
- build SEO optimized local business sites
- create entire membership sites
- create and manage affiliate campaigns
- build micro continuity sites
- create information sites with Adsense or CPA offers

…plus a whole load of other things I haven’t even thought of.

You can build an entire website, by yourself, and have it up and running without any help from programmers or web designers. The best part is, you don’t need to know any programming code whatsoever!

Using simple drag-and-drop technology and pre-made templates, you create your websites exactly as you want them, then FusionHQ takes care of all the complicated programming for you. No coding, or HTML skills needed.

Or perhaps you’re already a “techie”..? Even better. FusionHQ allows you to insert custom code, edit current templates, or simply upload your own.

No matter what level of skill you have or what you want to achieve, FusionHQ has you covered.

I have been using FusionHQ for over 2 years now and haven’t looked back. I started out as a Beta tester, so I’ve had plenty of experience using the platform.

FusionHQ has a lot of features that you may or may not be interested in depending on what you’re trying to do. So let’s get into it…

Simple Drag And Drop Technology

You don’t have to know a single line of programming code to be able to design a professional-looking website. You just drag and drop all the elements that you want straight onto the page exactly as you want them, and FusionHQ will do all the coding for you.

Insert text, images, videos, optin forms, buy now buttons, testimonial boxes, guarantee boxes, and so much more.

Want to change something on your page? No problem, simply click on any element and you can edit or remove it from the page. There’s no more fiddling around trying to find the exact code for the part you want to change.

If you do happen to have a piece of custom code that you want to put on your page, all you have to do is drag an “insert code” element onto the page and paste your code into it.

But the drag and drop doesn’t just stop at each individual page – you can actually change the entire structure of your site using the same technology.

Linking pages is as easy as connecting one box to another with an arrow. Again, all the coding is automatically done for you.

In the same way, deleting, re-arranging, or inserting a new page into the middle of an existing process/site couldn’t be easier.

Whereas in the past you had to physically edit the code in each individual page and manually change the links, you can now re-structure your entire site in a matter of seconds with just a few simple clicks.

Sales Processes

Build entire sales processes tailored to your needs. Include any combination of Squeeze pages, Upsells, Downsells, Cross-sells, OTOs (one time offers), Exit Pop-Ups, and Thank You pages.

It’s up to you to design it exactly as you want it – and you don’t have to worry about any programming or coding. Every aspect of web design is made simple using the drag and drop technology mentioned earlier.

Then, when it comes to testing, you can create simple A/B split tests with the click of a button. You don’t have to worry about pasting confusing code in exactly the right place to have everything working properly.

Membership & Content Sites

Building an entire site has never been so easy. Whether you want to build a content site to share with the public, or a membership or micro-continuity site with drip-fed content for members, FusionHQ has it all covered.

Create sites with an endless number of pages and a navigation menu that automatically updates as you add more pages.

You can give away access to your site via an optin form, or can offer a paid subscription that gives access to all or part of your content. Or maybe you want to only allow certain members access to certain pages. The choice is yours.

Unlike many popular membership site scripts, your content is completely secure, with unique usernames and passwords for each and every user. For added protection, only one user is allowed to login per account at any one time. This prevents people from sharing their login details with all their friends.

And if someone decides to cancel their paid subscription, their login details are automatically disabled so that they no longer gain access to you site.

Use the timed-release function to drip-feed content. This allows you to make pages available to users after a certain amount of time. You can even have pages unlock on a specific date.

Affiliate Campaigns

FusionHQ has made it really easy for you to create affiliate campaigns for the products you create. With your product already in the system, you’re really only a few clicks away from having a fully functional affiliate campaign.

If you’re a die-hard Clickbank fan, you can always use FusionHQ in conjunction with Clickbank much in the same way you do with EasyClickMate.

Setting up a campaign in FusionHQ is super simple. All you need to do is link it to a product (whether it be in FusionHQ or Clickbank), decide on the essential settings (i.e. cookie length, first/last affiliate wins, commission percentage), add a few promo tools for the affiliates – and you’re ready to start recruiting.

You can choose to show your campaign in the marketplace for any affiliates to find, or keep it private and recruit only the affiliates that you want.

From here you can manage affiliates, create custom tools and much more. FusionHQ’s affiliate tracking is double layered – cookie tracking combined with IP tracking to ensure accurate affiliate tracking.

Affiliate Center

As an affiliate, you can browse the marketplace to find an affiliate product that’s right for you, or join other specific affiliate programs that you’re already aware of.

Go to one place to find all the promotional tools you can use for all of the campaigns you have joined.

Sort your tools by campaign or by tool type, then just copy the code for the tool that you want to use – complete with your unique affiliate ID automatically embedded within the code – and paste it wherever you want it to go.

Then you can see tracking stats for each individual tool so that you can find out which tool converts best for you.

All affiliate links are tracked through cookies and IP, so you don’t need to worry about losing sales when people clear cookies.

Autoresponder

FusionHQ has an in-built autoresponder that you can use to build and manage mailing lists. It’s easy to use and makes it really simple to add optin forms to your sales processes.

Send individual broadcast messages to your list, or program a whole series of emails to send at set intervals.

Easily create single or double-optin lists, or even a combination of the two.

If you already use a different autoresponder service, FusionHQ easily integrates with many of the most popular autoresponders, such as Aweber, Get Response, iContact, and 1shoppingcart.

Other Super Cool Features

FusionHQ’s Direct Upload feature allows you to make all of your websites live on the Internet with a single click of a button. This is by far my favourite feature.

Sometimes things can get quite messy and confusing when you try to manually upload your files using an FTP Client. Using Direct Upload, FusionHQ does all the work for you in a matter of seconds.

Enjoy full integration with GoToWebinar. Webinars can be a powerful way to generate traffic to your site, but can also be a great way to build your list. FusionHQ now makes it possible to simultaneously add a person to a GoToWebinar AND your autoresponder list, using just one simple optin form.

If you have a whole series of webinars, your customers only need to optin to the one list and they will automatically be added to each and every scheduled webinar.

Anyone who is serious about succeeding online should give it a try.

As I said, I’ve been using FusionHQ for well over a 2 years now, and it has proven to be an invaluable tool.

This FusionHQ review is by far the best one I’ve seen – thanks for putting so much effort in. It shows you truly believe in FusionHQ. It looks like an awesome tool and I’ll definitely be getting it when they re-open their doors.

Hi Carl! Thank you very much for your kind words :) FusionHQ is an amazing tool and I’ll be sure to remind you when the doors re-open on November 2nd.

Kristina,

Thanks for this great review. This is just what my business needs — my current CMS is really outdated and holding my business back, big-time.

I am great at creating content but I am not very tech savvy. This looks like a great solution.

One question — If my site is currently hosted elsewhere, how do I switch everything over to keep my same domain and all that? Are there instructions on how to do that?

Thanks again. I’ve already opted in to receive further updates from you.

admin at

Hey Billy!
I’m not aware of any instructions on bringing existing domains across to FusionHQ hosting… but then I haven’t really looked. If you don’t have much content on your site, it’s as simple as going in to wherever you purchased your domain from and pointing your DNS to the FusionHQ servers (make sure you back up any content that you already have on there). If you have a lot of content on your site already that would be hard to transfer over, it makes things a little more complicated.
Please let me know if you need more help with this :)

Question — Can one of the pages you create using FusionHQ be a blog?

I see that you can create squeeze pages, sales letters, membership areas . . .but how about a blog?

Thanks again for your help!

admin at

Great question Billy!

Technically, you can’t build an entire blog from within FusionHQ, however you can create a page that actually redirects to an existing blog that you have very easily. If you’re only looking to create a small information blog, you could create it using the membership site builder in FusionHQ.

From what I hear, the team at FusionHQ are working on a module/plugin that will integrate with Wordpress. I’m not sure how long it will take to be released, but I will add a feature review to FusionHQ Review when it becomes available.

Hope this helps!

Kristina

Billy at

Makes sense, Kristina, thanks.

Couple more questions, if that’s okay . . .

(1) Can I upload my own template, or do I have access to the html coding to tinker with the existing template, if I like?

(2) Can I build more than one website or sales process for the same monthly cost?

Thanks again for your help!

admin at

1) You can definitely upload your own templates. I find that the best way is to download one of the existing templates and then just tweak it to your own needs. I’m not very good at html and css – so if I can do it, I assume it’s pretty easy for someone who knows what they’re doing :)

2) Don’t worry, the price will NOT go up the more sites you build… FusionHQ allows you to build an unlimited number of sites or sales processes for the same monthly cost.

Kristina – this is such a helpful review, thank you!

I’m wondering – can you create a modular membership programme for mulitple users using Fusion HQ?

For example, could you create a series of teaching modules consisting of text, audio, and video, that users could log into using their own unique ID number, and that they could leave comments on for me to access (but which wouldn’t be available to other users?).

In other words, could members have access to their own mini site that only they and I could access? Each user having access to their own private area, but containing the same content (teaching materials) as all other users?

admin at

Hi Brian!
You can certainly create membership sites with unique IDs, however FusionHQ currently has no feature to support private areas for individual users.
Having said that, if you have any scripts that allow you to do so, it is simple enough to simply plug it in to FusionHQ.
Hope that helps! – Kristina

How well does FHQ integrate with WP? Can I upload squeeze, sales and membership pages on my blog? Will the sales/squeeze rank well? If not how seo friendly is FHQ- does it rank well in the search engines?
Thanks.

admin at

FusionHQ is currently in the Beta testing phase of Wordpress integration. I believe the feature is due to be publicly released in the coming weeks. It will allow you to upload any page/series of pages created in FusionHQ onto any Wordpress blog. When you create any page in FusionHQ you have the ability to set all of your meta tags, title, description, etc to help with SEO rankings. As for the organic ranking for sites built in FusionHQ, I can’t really say for sure since it’s still fairly new in comparison to WP and other sites – however, in my experience, sites built in FusionHQ have ranked quite well (but then that was with backlinking and the other usual groundwork, so who knows).

Hi Kristina,

Thanks for doing a brilliant review. You are awesome.

How can I get this product now that it’s sold it and secondly does it help me to secure my digital products online so only after payments can the products be accessed.

I was looking at Kajabi when I decided to consider an alternative and I really like this and want to have a go at it.

Thanks,
DJ

admin at

Hi DJ,
Thanks for your kind words! Unfortunately, the doors to FusionHQ were opened a couple of weeks ago and only recently closed… So I’d say it will be a little while before the doors open again.
Yes, your digital products are secure – all links in a sales funnel are encrypted, so people can’t download your files, etc unless they’ve purchased your product. And if you have an online course, you can secure it in a membership site that is only accessible to members with a login.
Hope that helps!
Kristina

Kristina, I have just finished a webinar with Leon Jay and was totally impressed with FusionHQ. I am a total non tech newbie, am newly retired & I need a source of income other then my pension check & when I get my first check I’m signing up! God Bless…

Dear Admin,

Does FushionHq create heavy traffic for affiliate marketing purposes.

Thanks.

admin at

Hi Jamal,
FusionHQ helps you to build your online business – everything from sales funnels, content or membership sites, autoresponder series, affiliate campaigns, etc. It gives you the tools and the ability to market your business/site, but you still need to take the steps to use them. FusionHQ will not drive traffic for you, you will need to work on generating traffic to your sites. I hope that helps :)

Hi Antonio,
I’m glad you liked it! I look forward to welcoming you to the FusionHQ family :-)

FusionHQ Coupon Code

Quite a few people have noticed the addition of a Coupon Code box on the FusionHQ homepage.

Not long after it was introduced, I had a few inquiries from some FusionHQ Review readers out there wondering if I knew of a discount coupon that they could use.

So I spoke to some of the FusionHQ team, and I’m pleased to say that I do have a special coupon code. This coupon code works with any of the FusionHQ packages – Starter or Pro, monthly or yearly.

I negotiated hard to get this rate – it was the best possible deal I could get for our readers.

The only catch is, it’s limited to a certain number of uses (once that’s gone, the code will expire and there’s nothing I can do about it).

That is why I’m only giving this exclusive coupon code away to FusionHQ Review subscribers…

I’m not sure how quickly this code will expire, so sign up (using the form on the right) for your chance to get your FusionHQ discount coupon.

If you’ve been wanting to buy FusionHQ, but couldn’t quite afford the current price, then this may be the solution for you :-)

Sales Funnels Vs Content Sites

When it comes to building your website within FusionHQ, there are two main ways that you can go about creating it – as a Sales Funnel, or as a Content Site.

After helping to teach numerous FusionHQ members how to use the platform, I have come to realise that many people seem to stumble when it comes to creating either a Funnel or a Content Site.

I’ve noticed that a lot of people get frustrated trying to build their site as a Funnel, when they really should be creating it as a Content Site and vice-versa.

So I’d like to stop and take a moment to explain the difference between the two, so that anyone who is unsure can understand the purpose of each and can better decide which it is that they need to be building.

Content/Membership Sites

A content or membership site has a menu (either along the top or down the side of each page) that allows visitors to freely navigate through the site.

The whole purpose of a content site is to let your visitors browse the pages on your site however they like, in any order that they choose.

Although a membership site is a lot more restricted, it is much the same in that the members can pick and choose which of the allowed pages they want to view at any given time.

You can structure and group the pages on your content/membership site to suggest an order of viewing, but at the end of the day, visitors can jump from one page to another in whichever sequence they like.

So basically, visitors have many choices as to which pages they want to view on your content/membership site and can browse them in any order.

Below is an example of a content site:

FusionHQ Content Site Example

Sales Funnel

A funnel traditionally does NOT have a menu. This is because you do not want visitors to freely navigate the pages of your site.

The purpose of a Funnel is to do just that – “funnel” your visitors through a specific sequence of pages to get to a final result.

You would use a funnel when there is a logical order to which visitor must view pages, otherwise the whole process won’t make sense.

For example, a visitor must first submit their name and email before they can download their free report. At which point they are shown an exclusive offer to buy access your membership site… But they must first go through the payment process before they can get their login details. If they don’t want to become a member, they can simply download their free report and move on.

Each step in the above sequence led to the next. If the visitor had navigated away mid-way through, they would not have reached the end result (getting their free report and/or membership details).

So while visitors can choose to take certain actions (e.g. to buy the membership or not), they cannot choose the exact page that they see next and MUST view pages in a specific order.

Below is an example of a funnel:

FusionHQ Sales Funnel Example

Combining The Two

Sales Funnels and Content Sites do not have to be mutually exclusive… In many cases, you will need to create a combination of both to build your ideal website.

For example, you can have a content site containing basic free information that visitors can browse through at their leisure. Then you could link to your sales funnel via buttons when the visitors want to subscribe to your mailing list, or purchase some more advanced resources.

I hope that you now understand the difference between Content Sites and Sales Funnels, and can identify when you would need to use each.

If you have any questions or feel that I’ve missed anything, please leave a comment below :-)

FusionHQ’s Makeover

Yes, those of you who are currently FusionHQ users may have noticed some big changes to the User Interface. For those of you who don’t have access to FusionHQ, I have included a screenshot below:

FusionHQ's New Look

I think the new look is crisp, clean and, quite frankly, it’s sexy. But most importantly it has made FusionHQ even more user-friendly than it already was.

The hope for the new design was to make the platform easier to navigate than ever before and to make the overall user experience more enjoyable.

They’ve also added in a few new features – I’ll go into more detail about these in future posts on FusionHQ Review, but some of these include:

  • A Template Editor within the FusionHQ system. Yes, you can now tweak any existing templates, or build your own template completely from scratch. Create a custom design to suit your sites or sales funnels.
  • A Community Forum for all FusionHQ users, which can be accessed at the top right corner of the Dashboard (next to the Logout button). So people can now post questions, share tips, compare experiences and anything else you want to discuss with fellow FusionHQ users.
  • Bulk Sites – useful for people who use the Local Business Model, this feature allows you to easily clone and manage multiple different versions of a site on multiple domains.
  • Drop Shipping scheduling for people who promote physical products. When enabled, FusionHQ will create a record of the Name and shipping details of your customers. You can then export this or schedule it to automatically send an email to your drop shipping company at regular intervals so that they can fill your orders. So basically, your whole sales process is automated! :D

Pretty cool, huh?

The one downside to the new design, of course, is that all my past videos will now look a little different.

Don’t worry – although the platform looks different, all of the functions and features are essentially the same (so if you’re following along with any of my videos, you should still be able to achieve the same end result).

I would love to hear what people think of the new look – please leave a comment below or send an me email via the Contact page.
